Horror HaikuSounding the alarm
as the mental ward empties
I'm free to murder
Your life slowly leaves
your body while decaying
but then you return
You've been lost inside
the body of the puppet
in a children's show
Hear in the city
your invisible screaming
  echoes off the walls

I wrote a story
a haiku about horror
IT ALL BECAME REAL

Haunting HaikuIt comes late at night
I'm exhausted, can not fight
Consuming my light
Like a clouded haze
I lose track of all the days
In me, something lays
Who have I let in
Enveloped by possession
Angel or demon
Who assumes my stead
Are they living, are they dead
The voice in my head
How much of it's me
I lose myself, it's scary
Sometimes, it's creepy
You come and you go
Why it is, I'll never know
Just that, it is so
So do as you please
My spirit is yours to seize
Take my soul and squeeze
Take hold, have your way
Say the things you have to say
Don't seal me away
Like a clouded mist
I slowly cease to exist
For I can't resist
And when I am gone
Will you still continue on
Or be left alone
Leave me a small shred
Hear the words I know I've said
Through the thoughts you've fed
I'm use to haunting
But, sometimes it is daunting
What is it wanting
